I've started a newsletter on Substack. It's called Rose: some rambling. I will write about something and nothing, anything and everything, odds and sods and this and that. More precisely: whatever takes my fancy from my ongoing fish book research, tales from fell running on Yorkshire moors, and anything else that tickles or teases me.
The first edition features Red Cock the fighting pigeon, a fabulously brave fisherman named Thomas Crisp, Durex the cat, and a fell-running Grumpy.
