Stephen "Cod" Astley
Last month I spent a week in Newlyn, Cornwall, and I went fishing with "Cod" Astley. He is, according to my sources, an extraordinarily good bass fisherman, but he is also extraordinary because he has no lower legs, but still goes fishing. Reading about Cod getting out on the water with his Sea Legs is exactly the kind of story I needed after falling down a rabbit hole on plague map 2026 last night. It’s incredible that he is not only managing but is also an extraordinarily good bass fisherman. I wonder if his setup has inspired any local adaptive fishing programs in Newlyn?
