Lists, lists, lists. This is the month of lists. But I can't scorn them because of this: Nine Pints has been judged one of the books of the year both by The Economist and the Guardian. I am very chuffed. For a start, it's quite an accolade to be a book of a year when my book was published in late October. Secondly, it's just quite an accolade. I don't know how many books are published every year but it is thousands. An excellent Christmas present.
